Hanging Out With Jenny

The other night Arlyn and I called Jenny to set up a schedule to go christmas shopping with her. Jenny, one of my many friends. I' ve known her back in the philippines. Jenny got a day off from work, so we ended up going out. It was a short plan. Jenny came over at Arlyn's house she got there around 5:30 and I was still at work. I got off from work at 6:00 and I went straight home changed and left on the way to arlyn's place.

The night that I talked to Jenny I mentioned to her that I will bring Argentina corn beef as one of our dish for dinner. She was so excited becasue she never had an argentina corned beef since she got here in the US. I brought 4 cans. I gave Jenny 2 cans to take it home and the other 2 we ate it. Arlyn cooked chicken adobo and pancit along with the corned beef. We ate a lot. while we were eating, we did a lot of chatting since we hardly see each other nowadays.

After eating, we were surfing in the net and chatting with my cousin Revelyn in the philippines, at the same time we were getting ready to go out. We planned to go downtown San Jose. We got there early so we gave Jenny a tour. We took her in "Mission Ale and Toons" both places were kind a quite we stayed for a couple minutes and then we went to Studio 8. There, were packed and very crowded of people. We stayed there for the whole night.. The night was fun. Jenny liked the place and wanted to go back there somteimes.

Last night was fantanfantastic. I had so much fun with the girls, namely Kim, Joan, Irish, and Jinggay. Before we went ice skating. We ate dinner first at Boracay Tropical Grill, a Filipino restaurant, in downtown Sunnyvale. The food was great. After dinner, we had to stay for a few minutes because Ate Edwina who is the owner of the restaurant wanted us to stay and then we left. We got to downtown San Jose almost 10:00 P.M. Parking was difficult to find, as always. So, we had to pay $7 to park. The parking lot was a little bit far from the ice skating place. Good thing I was bundled up because we had to walk for a couple blocks. The line to get a ticket and to get our gears was kinda long. We got lucky we didn't have to wait that long. After putting our heavy ice skating boots we headed in. It was scary, when we got in because it was so slippery. We were all over the place. The four of us were relying from the railings around the rinks to keep our balance. We were expecting to fall a lot just like any beginners would.

This experience was the best ever. I might go back there again sometimes. Kim, if you want to go back there again, just gives me a call.
