Hanging Out With Jenny

The other night Arlyn and I called Jenny to set up a schedule to go christmas shopping with her. Jenny, one of my many friends. I' ve known her back in the philippines. Jenny got a day off from work, so we ended up going out. It was a short plan. Jenny came over at Arlyn's house she got there around 5:30 and I was still at work. I got off from work at 6:00 and I went straight home changed and left on the way to arlyn's place.

The night that I talked to Jenny I mentioned to her that I will bring Argentina corn beef as one of our dish for dinner. She was so excited becasue she never had an argentina corned beef since she got here in the US. I brought 4 cans. I gave Jenny 2 cans to take it home and the other 2 we ate it. Arlyn cooked chicken adobo and pancit along with the corned beef. We ate a lot. while we were eating, we did a lot of chatting since we hardly see each other nowadays.

After eating, we were surfing in the net and chatting with my cousin Revelyn in the philippines, at the same time we were getting ready to go out. We planned to go downtown San Jose. We got there early so we gave Jenny a tour. We took her in "Mission Ale and Toons" both places were kind a quite we stayed for a couple minutes and then we went to Studio 8. There, were packed and very crowded of people. We stayed there for the whole night.. The night was fun. Jenny liked the place and wanted to go back there somteimes.

Last night was fantanfantastic. I had so much fun with the girls, namely Kim, Joan, Irish, and Jinggay. Before we went ice skating. We ate dinner first at Boracay Tropical Grill, a Filipino restaurant, in downtown Sunnyvale. The food was great. After dinner, we had to stay for a few minutes because Ate Edwina who is the owner of the restaurant wanted us to stay and then we left. We got to downtown San Jose almost 10:00 P.M. Parking was difficult to find, as always. So, we had to pay $7 to park. The parking lot was a little bit far from the ice skating place. Good thing I was bundled up because we had to walk for a couple blocks. The line to get a ticket and to get our gears was kinda long. We got lucky we didn't have to wait that long. After putting our heavy ice skating boots we headed in. It was scary, when we got in because it was so slippery. We were all over the place. The four of us were relying from the railings around the rinks to keep our balance. We were expecting to fall a lot just like any beginners would.

This experience was the best ever. I might go back there again sometimes. Kim, if you want to go back there again, just gives me a call.

Shopping Day

Early this morning, I got a phone call from one of my friend, Joan. The phone call made me wake up earlier than my usual time when I don't have to go to work. I only sleep in longer on weekends. Anyway, Jaon asked me if I want to go shopping with her and, guess what, she was already at Oakridge Mall with her mother-in-law, when she called me it was around 8:00 o'clock in the morning. I couldn't beleive this girl went to the mall that early. We decided to meet at Valley Fair. But first she had to come home, eat lunch, and drop off her mother-in-law so she could go to work. After talking and making a plan with her, I tried to go back to bed, but I couldn't. I was so excited to go shopping. I ended up getting ready. When I was ready, I asked my husband, Joe, If he could give me a ride to Valley Fair. My husband Joe had his own plan to go out shopping. We left home together and he dropped me off at Valley fair in front of J-Crew. I wasn't feeling like driving because I knew that it would be too crowded in the parking lot and it would be hard to find a parking spot. I planned to meet Joan at the Dell computer booth because I wanted to get information about thier Dell computers. Then, Joan arrived. She knew that I was planning to get a laptop. So, both of us started asking the sales guy about their laptop and I asked him If he could give me some printed information to take it home to show my husband and see what he would sat before we bought one. He gave me the printed information. It was nice of him.

Then, off we go to Macy's. We checked it all out of their purses, sun glasses and sandals. I found a nice pair of sandals that I really liked it, but guess what they don't have my size. I wasn't surprise though, it happened to me all the time. After an hour or so of browsing around inside Macys, I bought a purse, even though I just got new one from last weekend. It was on sale. I couldn't resist it. Joan didn't buy anything in Macys because she already bought purse earlier in diffrent Macys location ( Oakridge Mall ). I paid my purse in the counter.we headed out from the macys and went in to Abercrombie and Fitch. There, Jaon bought pants and blouse. Since, winter is approaching I bought three long sleeve. We checked out our bag of goodies and went straight to star bucks to get some mocha frappuccino. I was bugging Joan the whole time to get frapuccino. I needed my caffeine to keep me going. We saved four bucks because Joan had starbucks card. While sipping my frappuccino, I suddenly felt tired. I thought If I had my caffeine I would be more hyper and felt had a lots of energy. I was wrong. I told Joan that I wanted to go home. I live very close from Valley Fair. She took me home and left. When I got home my husband was already home. I showed him the printed information from the Dell. He looked at it. Then, he took off to school to get ready for next week class. Me, I was just surfing in the net and I realized that I rented a filipino movie and its been sitting on our table for two days now. So, I watched the movie called "Love struck" with Jolina Magdangal and other pairs of love teams whom I don't know. It was a good movie I enjoyed it. What a day!
